Take card payments and offer pay-at-close on premium packages through one provider. Titus is a payment provider built for real estate. Connect it to Fotello to take standard card payments, let agents defer payment until their listing closes, or both. Titus funds you upfront either way. Every payment stays linked to its Fotello invoice. ### Two ways to get paid #### Pay Now A standard card payment processed by Titus. It works like Stripe or Square. The agent pays at booking. No application or approval is needed. #### Pay at close The agent pays $0 today and settles the full amount when the home sells. Titus pays you upfront and collects from the agent at closing. Rates for the agent start at 0%. You can use either mode by itself or offer both. ### Before you start * You must be a team **Owner** or **Admin**. Photographers can open **Apps**, but cannot see payment apps. Ask your Owner to change your role under **Settings → Teams → Members**. * Your team must bill in US dollars. Titus only supports USD. * Deposit payment mode must be off for pay at close. See [Things to know](#things-to-know). * You do not need a Titus account before starting. Create one during the connection flow. ### Connect Titus 1. In Fotello, select **Apps** in the left sidebar. 2. Open the **Titus** card and select **Connect**. 3. Sign in to Titus or create your business account. Fotello pre-fills your business name. 4. Return to Fotello. You will see **Finishing Titus connection**. 5. If **Pay Now** is enabled, choose **Set Titus as default** or **Keep your current provider**. The connection usually takes a few seconds. If it takes over two minutes, refresh the page. Once connected, **Pay at close** appears on booking pages and hosted invoices. ### Use Titus for card payments Make Titus your default payment provider to route standard card payments through Titus. 1. Turn on **Pay Now** in your Titus account. 2. In Fotello, go to **Apps → Titus**. 3. Open the **More** menu and select **Set as default**. Until Titus is your default provider, card payments use your existing provider. Titus only handles pay at close. ### How pay at close works Agents see **Pay at close — $0 due today** beside the card payment option. This appears on booking pages and hosted invoices. Selecting **Learn more** or **See if you qualify** opens a Titus estimate. When the agent continues, Fotello sends them to Titus's secure checkout. Titus reviews the request there. * **Approved** — The agent returns to Fotello. The booking confirms after Titus reports the payment. * **Under review** — The agent returns to **Booking Requested**. The order remains open until Titus approves it. * **Declined or abandoned** — The agent returns to **Booking Requested**. They can select **Complete Payment** to try again or pay later from the invoice. Titus pays you upfront for **Pay Now** and pay at close. You do not wait for the property to sell. ### Payments stay linked to invoices Each Titus payment is tied to its Fotello invoice. Refunds made in Titus also appear on the invoice. Go to **Apps → Titus → Transactions** to see each Titus payment and its status. ### Things to know * **Pay at close is available for all orders.** It appears on every booking page and hosted invoice after you connect Titus. There is no per-client setting. Agents choose whether to use it. * **Deposits and Titus do not mix.** Titus settles in full. While deposit mode is on in order settings or a customer-team override, agents cannot use pay at close. Titus also cannot become the default provider. Turn deposits off first. * **Payment limits apply.** A Titus checkout must be between $1 and $50,000, including any tip. ### Frequently asked questions #### Do agents have to use pay at close? No. Card payment remains available on every order. Pay at close is an additional option. If Titus is your default provider, both options run through Titus. #### Must I offer pay-at-close to every client? Pay at close appears for every agent after you connect Titus. There is no per-client setting. #### When exactly do I get paid? Titus funds you upfront after the agent completes checkout. This applies to **Pay Now** and pay at close. Payout timing depends on your Titus account. Check your Titus dashboard or contact Titus support. #### What if the agent is not approved for pay at close? The agent sees **Booking Requested** in Fotello. The order remains open. They can try again or pay later from the invoice. Titus makes the approval decision. Contact Titus support for details about a specific request. #### What if a deal falls through? Titus owns the payment agreement with the agent. You have already been funded. Contact Titus support with deal-specific questions. #### Can I disconnect Titus? Yes. Go to **Apps → Titus**, select the **More** menu, then select **Disconnect Titus**. Confirm the change. When you disconnect: * Pay at close disappears from booking pages and hosted invoices. * If Titus was your default provider, card payments return to Stripe. Set Square as default again if you use Square. * Existing payments are unaffected. Their records remain on their invoices.
