# Connect QuickBooks Online to Fotello

Keep invoices, customers, payments, and services in sync with QuickBooks Online.

Keep your accounting in sync without manual entry. Fotello pushes invoices, customers, and payments to QuickBooks Online automatically.

### What syncs

### Before you start

* Have an active QuickBooks Online account on any plan.
* Be the Fotello account owner or an administrator.

### Connect QuickBooks Online

1. In Fotello, select **Apps** in the left sidebar.
2. Find **QuickBooks Online** and select **Connect**.
3. Sign in to Intuit with your QuickBooks credentials.
4. Authorize Fotello to access your QuickBooks company.
5. Select **Connect** to finish.

Fotello starts syncing immediately. No additional setup is required.

### How syncing works

#### Invoices

Fotello sends each created, updated, finalized, or paid invoice automatically. You do not need exports or manual entry.

#### Customers

When an invoice syncs, Fotello creates its customer in QuickBooks if needed. Linked records stay associated across both products.

#### Products and line items

Fotello creates invoice services and line items as QuickBooks products and items. This keeps revenue categories consistent.

#### Payments

Fotello applies recorded payments to the matching QuickBooks invoice automatically.

### Frequently asked questions

#### Will existing invoices sync?

No. Syncing starts when you connect QuickBooks Online. Existing Fotello invoices are not pushed retroactively.

#### What happens when a customer already exists?

Fotello matches customers by name or email before creating a record. This avoids duplicates where possible.

#### Can I disconnect QuickBooks Online?

Yes. Go to **Apps**, find **QuickBooks Online**, then select **Disconnect**. Future invoices stop syncing. Existing QuickBooks records remain unchanged.
