# Sky Style

Sky Style lets you change the sky on a single photo from the Adjust panel. Use it when one exterior needs a different look than the rest of the set.

<figure><img src="/files/jwCyPCs900gpdhELul9K" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="info" %}
Sky Style shows up on **exterior** photos only.

This is a **per-photo** control. It overrides the default set in [Preferences](/photos/editing/preferences.md) for that photo.

It’s also separate from the Sky Style used in [Twilight](/photos/twilight.md).
{% endhint %}

Select a sky from the **Sky Style** carousel to apply it to the current photo.

#### Included sky styles

* Sunny puffs
* Loaded puffs
* Streaks & puffs
* Sweep streaks
* Scatter streaks
* Crisp streaks
* Clear fade
* Original

{% hint style="info" %}
Fotello subtly repositions the sky per photo, so no two exteriors match exactly. That avoids the “pasted sky” look across a set.
{% endhint %}

#### From there, you can:

* Swap styles anytime by clicking a different option.
* Revert back to the original sky by choosing **Original**.
* Upload your own sky to match your brand or a client request.

### Upload your own sky

Click **Upload** in the Sky Style carousel, then select a sky image from your computer. Your uploaded skies stay in your account so you (or your [Teams](/teams/teams.md)) can reuse them on future listings.

### Best practices for custom skies

* Use high-resolution images (avoid banding and compression artifacts).
* Use images that are only sky (no houses, trees, or skylines).
* Match the scene’s light direction and time of day.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://uni.fotello.co/photos/personalizing-photos/sky-style.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
