# Lens Correction

Fotello automatically applies lens correction to keep lines straight and edges clean. With so many new lens models coming to market, a few can occasionally get missed from our current correction database.

### If you're noticing

* Barrel distortion (edges bulge outward)
* Fisheye / ultra-wide stretch
* Vignetting (dark corners)

{% hint style="warning" %}
Avoid exports or pre-processing that strip EXIF metadata.

Upload the original RAWs/JPEGs straight from camera.

See: [Adding Photos](https://uni.fotello.co/photos/editing/adding-photos)
{% endhint %}

### Report a lens issue

We want to support every photographer and every setup, and that includes *your gear*. If you’re seeing distortion, please take a minute to tell us what lens you're using: [Submit Your Lens Info Here](https://forms.gle/gxdU64ZSinRZ6jtJ8)

Once we have it, we’ll prioritize adding support for your lens in our next AI model update.
