# Create Video

Create Video turns your listing photos into a cinematic property video complete with smooth camera moves, background music, and optional branding — all without leaving Fotello.

### Getting started

Click **Create Video** from either the **Photos** tab or the **Videos** tab header. This opens the full-screen video editor.

The editor is split into three panels:

* **Media** — your listing photos
* **Preview** — a live preview of your video sequence
* **Preferences** — orientation, duration, audio templates, and branding

### Build your sequence

Drag photos from the **Media** panel onto the **Timeline** at the bottom. You can also click a photo to add it to the end of the sequence.

<figure><img src="/files/ynjQ9bKMZMTjTWO2R0K9" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* **Reorder** — drag photos within the timeline to rearrange
* **Remove** — drag a photo out of the timeline to remove it
* **Duplicate** — duplicate a slot to use the same photo with a different crop or effect
* **Pick for me** — let Fotello build the whole sequence for you (see [Pick for me](#pick-for-me) below)

### Photo count by duration

| Duration | Min photos | Max photos |
| -------- | ---------- | ---------- |
| 30s      | 10         | 15         |
| 60s      | 20         | 30         |
| 90s      | 30         | 45         |

### Crop photos

Each photo on the timeline can be cropped to fit the chosen orientation. Click a photo on the timeline and adjust its crop frame. This lets you control exactly which part of the photo appears in the video.

### Create scenes

Scenes group consecutive photos into one smooth camera move — like walking through a room. Without scenes, the video cuts between every shot.

Link adjacent photos on the timeline to create a scene. The editor will prompt you if you haven't created any scenes before rendering.

<figure><img src="/files/oG24JM72JxjQWbNoUIaf" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="info" %}
Scenes make a big difference. Grouping 2–4 related shots (e.g. different angles of a kitchen) into a scene creates a natural, flowing walkthrough.
{% endhint %}

### Add effects

Add cinematic VFX to individual photos in your sequence. Click the effects icon on a timeline slot to open the effects picker.

**Exterior effects:**

* Helicopter Reveal
* Concept Board
* Construction
* Zenith (sunrise time-lapse)
* Open Door
* Earth Zoom

**Interior effects:**

* Shadow Sunlight
* Stage Room

{% hint style="info" %}
We recommend up to 2 effects per video. You can add more, but fewer effects generally look more polished.
{% endhint %}

### Speed ramps

A speed ramp adds a quick burst of motion where two clips meet. The video eases into the cut and accelerates out for a more dynamic, cinematic feel. Speed ramps are added automatically when Fotello renders your video.

<figure><img src="/files/0NpcKZC7wbZVgGYNZbrQ" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="info" %}
A speed ramp works best between two related shots — like moving from a wide room to a close-up detail. Use them sparingly across the video so each one stands out.
{% endhint %}

### Set preferences

Use the **Preferences** panel on the right side to configure:

#### Listing Address

The property address shown in the video. This pulls from your listing's **Info** tab. Click the edit link to update it.

#### Orientation

* **Landscape** (16:9) — best for property websites and YouTube
* **Portrait** (9:16) — best for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts

#### Duration

* **30s** — quick teaser
* **60s** — standard walkthrough
* **90s** — full tour

{% hint style="info" %}
Switching to a shorter duration when you've already selected more photos than the new maximum will trim your selection from the end.
{% endhint %}

#### Audio Templates

Pick **3 audio templates** from the library. Each template has a different mood — preview them by clicking the play button. Fotello renders a separate video for each selected template, so you get 3 unique versions.

<figure><img src="/files/5IXR6cxSqwLw9Nm1RKyi" alt="" width="300"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Branding

* **Unbranded** — no agent information
* **Branded** — includes the assigned customer's photo/logo and contact details
* **Both** — creates both branded and unbranded versions

{% hint style="warning" %}
Branded videos require an assigned customer with a profile photo or company logo. You'll be prompted to assign a customer or add a branding image if one is missing.
{% endhint %}

### Pick for me

Short on time? Let Fotello build the entire sequence for you. Pick for me automatically selects your strongest photos, groups related shots into scenes, frames each shot for your chosen orientation, adds motions to bring your videos to life — like fireplace flames, water ripples, TV screens, swaying trees etc— and syncs every cut to the beat of your music, giving you a polished walkthrough you can fine-tune.

Before you use it, set up a few preferences so Fotello knows what you're after:

1. Choose your **Orientation** and **Duration**.
2. Pick **3 audio templates** from the library.
3. Choose a **Branding** option.
4. Click **Pick for me** at the bottom right of the timeline. (When the timeline is empty, you can also use the **pick for me** link in the timeline.)

Fotello fills in your timeline in a few moments. While it works, you'll see its progress — hover the button and click **Cancel** to stop at any time.

When it's done, your sequence is ready to go. Review the result and tweak anything you like — reorder shots, adjust crops, add effects, or link shots into scenes — then create your video.

<figure><img src="/files/NRTGgpoj4sm5Xlw8DYJw" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="info" %}
Pick for me is a starting point, not a final cut. Everything it chooses can be adjusted before you create your video.
{% endhint %}

### Create your video

Once your sequence is ready and preferences are set, click **Create** at the bottom right of the timeline.

Fotello will render your videos in the background — you can leave the page and come back later. Completed videos appear in the **Videos** tab.

### What you get

Each creation produces **multiple video renders** based on your selected templates and branding options. All renders appear in the **Videos** tab where you can:

* **Preview** — watch the completed video
* **Download** — save the video file
* **Archive** — hide videos you don't need
* **Reorder** — drag to change the display order

### Plan coverage and pricing

Create Video availability and included usage depends on your plan. If it isn't included (or you need more), it's available via pay as you go.
